I am using Roxio 7. After I create a slideshow, somehow my pictures are lost and replaced with a question mark. What has happened?

Did you move the location of your photos or the project file? If they are still on your system you should be able to relink to the photos. Just double-click on one of the ? photos and follow the prompts

Hi there. I went to help and read about the question mark. Can you give me any help about renaming my photos in MY PICTURES? That is where I am getting my pictures for the slideshow. I was told that I needed to rename them in order to see the pictures in the order that I want. HELP

I don't understand why you want to rename the photo files. To see the slides in the order you want has nothing to do with the names of the files. The order you add them to the slideshow determines the order you see them. You have not answered my questions.
