So now that it is evident that EC9 is worthless with vista Roxio's solution is to come out with Roxio Central and eventually EC10. Yes, the good folks at Roxio juat care so much much about their customers that now they want us to spend more money on a new Easy Creator version to fix all the crap that doesn't work with EC9. So what is the guarantee Roxio? What if EC10 hangs under vista? What if the mpeg2 codec doesn't load? What if there is no way to activate your 25 digit activation number and your'e stuck with another worthless application. By the way what is my 25 digit activation number? Icouldn't even find that. I have been waiting for over a month for a solution to all the problems with EC9 and your remedy is for me to buy another version of your wonderful software. If anyone else out there wants to spend another 100 or so dollars on this junk then be my guest. As WC Fields said " There's one born every minute."

EMC9 works fine for me in Vista and all I did was uninstall Drag to Disc afterwards.
Roxio Central is just a media program and for all we know, may or may not be part of 10. All companies look many versions ahead in planning and if not, will fall by the side. I think it's great that they're actually including us in what may be coming in the future.
Version 10's are usually a milestone so I expect much from this future release.

Uh, It was P.T Barnum. There is another story about good old P.T. putting a "this way to the egress" sign over a door because some people overstayed their welcome.
Search this site for Tom at Roxio's posts to get the full story -- oh wait, you started the thread and got the answer there. Did you make any effort to contact Tom?
