I have been attempting to burn some little video VOB files. I had made them with iMovie on my apple computer and saved them onto dvd-r discs before it crashed. I was able to get them onto my PC and can watch them so I know they are fine... but when I go to burn them onto new dvd's, using the drag-to-disc method, I have a problem at the end of the transfer, it tells me I need to do the advanced burn so it will play on other computers and players as it ejects... I went into the 'menu' under the advanced settings to set it up to play on Mac.... it appears to be working, but at the very end, a window pops up asking me about these same 'advanced' settings so it will play on other players again... the options are to 'eject' or 'advanced' ... i have tried to click on both the 'advanced' tab and the 'eject' tab and it spits out the disc telling me it was interrupted in the process... I have allowed it to sit and work on doing whatever it is it is supposed to do for hours and it doesn't seem to work either.... I KNOW I have the settings set up for the dvd to be burned correctly, but whatever it is doing, the dvd's are not playable... I have wasted almost 25 dvd discs now and am really getting upset. Of course, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, thinking it was corrupted... and NOW i can't do anything because of the CD key thing... I am asking about the other stuff in hopes I someday will get it to re-install... IF i can ever get it UN-installed. PLEASE HELP! |

It is only capable of burning data, not music or movie CD's or DVD's. The proper program to use is Disc Copier. -------------------- Life is good!
