I have created a rather large project with over 600 photographs and graphics and music on my laptop computer as I have been traveling.  The laptop does not have DVD burning capabilities so I copied the file onto an external device to open on my desktop computer to burn the DVD.  When I opened the file on the desktop it was empty.    sad.gif   I really do not want to redo the entire project on my desktop computer as it was alot of work.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this file on my desktop computer??

If you did the project in VideoWave, the saved file is just a set of instructions on what the software is to do with all of the files on your computer.  Therefore, the files have to be in the same place on your desktop computer.

If you used VideoWave for creating your production, you can output it to a DV-AVI file, using your laptop, then bring that file into your desktop for authoring and burning.

Or on your laptop, you could burn it to an image file (.iso) or a set of video folders rather than to a disc (since you have no burner in the LT). Then copy that to your desktop pc and burn it to a disc using Disc Copier.
