Can anyone tell me how or if you can add a blank slide then add text to it when creating a slide show? Quite easily. Open VideoWave, add your photos to the Production Editor, below. This is better done in Storyline, if you are only adding photos. Now, if there a certain photo that you want to add a text panel BEFORE the picture, right click on that photo, and select Insert Color Panel. A small screen will open. Select a color from there, and click OK. A color panel will now be inserted before that picture. Now, you want to add text to that panel. Click on the abc icon at the bottom of the Media Selector window. Another window will open that shows you many different text options. Pick the text you want, and drag it down into the blank panel. A window will open where you can type whatever you want for text, change the color of the text, make it fly in or fade in, etc. You do not have worry about adjusting the time that the text is open. It will be there for the amount of time the color panel is open. Just play around with it, and you will become 2nd nature to you. I have been using the wrong application in the suite. I have been using create slide show. I tried the Video wave and it works great. Thanks. |

Additional thought, and Bruce taught me this. For a very cool effect you could add an overlay to the blank slide--it will appear as a light backgraond of a foto.Just go to timeline view, drag a foto to the overlay track (the last track). Then right click on the the overlay and click edit overlay--you can them adjust how you want the overlay to appear as far as clarity.Bob
