Problem Playing Picture CD on DVD Player Options

I created a photo cd suing photosuite, and of course arranged the pictures in the order I'd like them displayed. When I play the cd in my pc (WindowsXP), they play in the order I arranged them . But in my dvd player, the photos appear randomly. I don't have a random setting on my dvd player and also tested it on my sister's dvd player and encountered the same problem (no random play setting on hers either). Any suggestions on what the problem may be? I didn't change the file names that were 'issued' when I took the pics w/my digital camera either.
