I am getting a blue edge on the borders of my video. Especially noticable on the left side and top. This is extremely distracting when the edited video is saved in a 16:9 format or .WMV format.

It is OK on a 4:3 screen, but only because the TV safe zone blocks the blue edge from appearing. On a 16:9 screen (letterbox), or anything smaller, this blue edge always appears. When creating a transition between scenes, the blue edge looks horrible and awkward.

I did not have this problem with VideoWave 8 or before. Nor do I have this problem with any other video editing software.

I have emailed tech support many times about this and NEVER got any answer or help. The Roxio support really sucks. Not only is it very difficult to find your way around the "Roxanne" interface crap, but trying to find where a "status" report on previous OPEN tech support issues is near impossible.

Anyone out there having a problem with the blue border? Do you have a recommendation?

No, this isn't the problem. I have the latest driver and this was actually one of the first things I checked. Plus, as I said, this problem doesn't occur with previous versions of VideoWave or other Editors. Only Version 9. It also appears when installed on another PC. Please try this for yourself and see if it occurs on your machine. It would be great if I could get a confirmation or not. You have to burn a video to see it though. You can save as a .wmv file on your harddrive and play back in Windows Media.

No this does not occur on either of my machines. I never use WMV files though. I'm strickly DV AVI which I use to make home DVDs. Have you added anything to Windows media player lately? New codecs? plugins? I think Videowave uses the WMV codecs from Microsoft. If you have installed WMP 11 beta, i know that has caused some odd problems, too.

Did you ever get a resolution on this issue? I have the same problem but can't find a solution for it.

Thx
