I used Roxio Creator 8.25 which has a photo slideshow component. I created a new slideshow and burned it into a vcd. when i played the vcd - the quality of the pictures was horrible in comparison to the originals. I then used a different product from HP to create a slideshow and the process was much faster and the quality of the pictures showed up much better. Does anyone know why? It also seems to take Roxio so much longer to prepare and process before the burn..

VCD is very poor quality. With DVD burners being so cheaply priced now, it would be better to update your burner to a DVD burner and burn your slide shows to a DVD. You will see a great difference in the quality of the video.

Well, DVD's are cheap, and the size of the file means nothing. It is the length, in time, of your production that counts, when talking about DVD video. One hour of video, at best quality, on a standard DVD.

Also, when you are making your slide show, use VideoWave to do it.
