Whenever I start Videowave or MyDVD I get a warning window informing me which video card I have and that the driver may be out of date. I have updated the driver prior to installation of EMC9 but can find no way to stop this window appearing. !Not a major problem but very irritating. Any suggestions would be welcome. sad.gif

This could indicate that your video card does not fully support DirectX 9. What card do you have?

Leaving EMC 9 installed, try uninstalling then re-installing your video drivers.

happens to my test machine which has an onboard Intel video card... if you go to Tools -> Options, are you able to switch render mode to Hardware?

As it should. Looking at the S3 page, the ProSavage is a legacy chipset and if I remember correctly was designed for DirectX 5 or 6. It would be advisable to purchase a newer video card.
