I have had continuings with DVD's pixelating, etc., in stand alone players. Copying .iso files, using Roxio or ImgBurn has not really solved anything. Sometimes one burned disk will work, while another using the same process, will not. But, the latest problem always occured at about the same place on the disk. Creating a second iso file seemed to help, but the strangest thing was the following: for a "bad" disk, after I rubbed it on my pant leg, it worked!!!

Anybody had simiilar experiences?

What brand of pants are those?

Single layer or dual layer?

>Creating a second iso file seemed to help<

Out of the same source files, shouldn't matter.

>after I rubbed it on my pant leg, it worked!!!<

Put these disc'c in DVDInfo Pro. Post the Media ID (MID).
Do the pi, po, and the disc quality checks.

Yes. If there is dust or oil from a fingerprint on the burned surface of a DVD, that can cause the DVD to 'pixelate' or freeze when you play it. I've had this happen even on commercially produced DVDs.

Just be careful how you clean the surface.
