Full Version: Pls. Help: I can not burn CD DVD

I reloaded version 8 (my computer crashed) and now I can not complete by data CD of my Power point presentation. Get message Session fixation error:incomplete track in session: illegal request.
Appreciate aby hgelp you can give.

It sounds like maybe the disc you are using already has data written to it that is corrupted.If you've used the disc before and are trying to add to it you need to import the previous session.If it won't let you import it then the disc may be corrupted.

After some more checking this seems to be a media error.Try using a different brand of media.Also try and see if there is updated firmware for your drive.A lot of times firmware updates have to do with media compatibility.

Thank you for the advise. I have the latest update on my firmware. And the disc I have used were all new. I have used 2 different brands. I do not, however, problem burning my music disc (luckily). The problem encountered was when burning the power point tinto the disc using Data disk recorder...

It sounds like you are trying to burn to disc from within the Power Point program???

Generally speaking, that is not the way optical media works, it requires an Authoring program to burn the media.

I haven't seen one, but I understand newer versions of PP do have this ability…

So, a little more detail would be in order before we can really be of any assistance.
