In the previous verion of Roxio that came bundled with my Dell computer (version I can't seem to find) in a storyline frame in VideoWave I could copy text from a document outside Roxio (e.g. - from Wrod Perfect) and paste it into the Roxio text frame. This is very convenient when text you want to use in your production already exists elsewhere.

I upgraded to version 8 and now can't paste text into the Roxio text frame. I have been frustrated by a number of changes from the old version I had, but have learned to use version 8 and like it now except for the inability to paste in text. It's highly irritating to have to retype the text. I find it a bit hard to believe that they would have gotten rid of this ability, so I am assuming I am missiong something.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

I don't have V8 on my computer anymore but V9 is almost identical. I was able to do it with no problems. After getting a text box on the video, I simply used CTRL-V to paste it.

Thanks much. I was trying to use the menus and the paste was always grayed out. I just tried CTRL-V and it worked just fine. I knew there had to be a simple solution. Thanks again.
