I was wondering how I can get the creator 8 to recognize a cd-r in my recorder. I will recognize a CD-RW, and DVDs but it will only playback a CD-R not let me record to one. The software keeps asking me to inset a recordable media. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

If your using Creator Classic data project? At the bottom left part of the complication window there is a drop down arrow box. Change it to disc size you are using.

Changing the media size in Creator Classic can be done using the method that cdanteek pointed out as shown in the photo attached.
