Full Version: Unable To Print In Label Creator 7.5

I've got a serious problem in a disappointing EMC 7.5. This one has occupied considerable time both now and back in December when I gave up on it. I can't print from inside Label Creator. I can export to other applications and print from there but inside Label Creator, both in EMC 7.5 and Photosuite 7 when I hit Print, the program closes. I never see a Print screen, the whole program just closes.

I won't enumerate my considerable other difficulties with Roxio until I get this fixed - if I ever do that is, I'm beginning to dispair. Roxio's website Support is a laugh. I would have thought that with the amount of money I have poured into their software I'd have gotten some company help. Failing that, are there any other civilians who know what's going on with Label Creator printing? I'd appreciate the help. Denzil.

That sounds like a problem that some experienced with Version 7.0. The update, on the main website, fixed that problem. I have not heard of it happening in Version 7.5, but I suspect the possibly, your Photosuite 7 could be part of the problem. Only guessing here.

I didn't want to pad my post too much with telling you all what I've done to get out of this but I have reinstalled the program and downloaded and run all updates on the Roxio website. Still no Go. I have over the years successively run version 5 Basic, 5 Platinum, 6, and 7 without this hangup with 7.5. Photosuite shares the same Label Creator. Thanks for the comeback. Denzil.

hi, i have a similai problem. just changed my printer to an epson dx4800 and label creator wont print to it. it seems to do all the right moves but its like the info does not get sent to the printer. what is the name of the update you are talking about . i had no probs with my last printer. i used to import a cd cover, stretch it to fit then hit the print icon and it printed. do the same with the new printer and nothing. any help greatly appreciated. thanks tom...

This thread is a year old, and you should have started a new one, but don't worry about it, now.

It all depends on what version of the software you have. If it is a version that came with a DVD drive, or a computer, Roxio doesn't support it, and you will have to go to the manufacturer of the drive or computer, to get help.

If you have the downloaded version or the retail (boxed) version, there are updates here: What version do you have? You can find your version by opening Creator Classic, click on Help, then click on about. Post that version number here, and check the updates to make sure you don't already have the latest version.
