huh.gif I burn one file to the disc and when I want to burn another EMC9 says "disc has data on it" and the burn tab won't light up.

Is it possible to burn more than 1 file at different times? Like on a data disk. Or do I need to save up 4.7 GB of files and then burn all at once?

Sure, use Creator Classic as a data disc and in the 'Burn' box, make sure you leave 'Read Only Disc' unchecked and burn your data. Later, when inserted, you should see a bubble pop up above the appendable icon asking if you want to add the data already on your disc to the new data you're adding. Click it and burn and you should be able to add more each time until the disc is full or you put a check in the Read only box which will close the disc so that no more can be written to it.

When you burn the FIRST session, make sure you UNCHECK - 'read only'!!!!

Thanks for the info. But i am talking about video sessions. I upload some video from my camera and burn it to a DVD. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes worth. Then when i want to add some more video it says disc has data on it and the burn tab is shaded.

Can I burn video like a data disk?

Thanks for your patience.

Sorry, the video DVD STANDARD does not allow multiple burns or open sessions.

In addition to what Gary stated, Roxio doesn't control the industry standard.
