Just pruchased MYDVD Preimer 8 about 2 weeks ago because it offered the option of moving text & menu
buttons. I have been using MY DVD Ver 5.3.0 for past 2 or 3 years. I am running windows XP

I set up my picture & moive files in Windows movie maker and save them in either AVI or High Quality Video format. Then import into MY DVD. When using Premier 8 the quality of DVD is not good when playing DVD on 52 inch TV you can see some distortion and blur on people face's it is not to the extent that you can see it in the background. I imported in AVI & High Quality Video several times with the same result.

I know that the problem is some where in Premeir 8 because the same file's when imported into MY DVD Ver 5.3.0 for burning and played on same 52 inch TV have a nice clear sharp picture. I have imported file's and burned to DVD in both format's several times with the same result with both programs.

It's a upsetting to spend money for a new program made by the same company which is suspose to be more up to date and should work better but produces a poorer quality DVD. Any help or suggestion is apperciated Thank You AL
