Drag to disc hangs, can't shut down computer. When trying to move 75 mb files from hard drive to Sansa 4 GB MP3 player. Tried it twice and same problem. Just bought Easy Media Creator 9!
Later the icon for D2D went blank and hung the system again. Wouldn’t shut down.
Since then I just exit D2D whenever I start up.
I also read where shutting down "watching folders" helps but don't know yet.
Anyone with this problem?
I bought EM9 at Costco just so I could take it back if this kind of stuff happens and I get no support from Roxio. I'm almost there.

D2D only works with Formatted Optical Media. You cannot possibly use it to transfer files to an MP3 Player!
Some have reported reboots and or BSOD with using D2D in V9. I have seen 2, BSOD's but made 20 some writes and erasures to DVD & CD after the last one without a problem.
D2D is a packet writer and no packet writer has ever been called reliable… It should never be used for any sort of backup or archive!
Most users do not need it and can remove it through the Control Panel – Add/Remove Programs.
If you have occasional use, it can be disable from startup through MSCONFIG. You can always start it manually through the Start Menu.

No no no, I didn't use it to transfer the files, I simply used windows explorer like I usually do to drag files and drop them into my player. Since disabling D2D seems to work fine.
