Full Version: Error and Diagnosis Problem

I am new to Easy Media Creator 9 and digital media in general. I am not new to computers however and I use 3D and 2D design software at work all of the time, however, when I run into a problem I call the IT group. Well I have run into a problem with Creator 9 which I bought yesterday.

I have been playing with it and trying out the different applications. I have been able to burn a data CD and DVD etc.

However, I have run into a problem with Slideshow. After I add some photos and get to ‘burn to disc’, is when I run into a problem.

1. The encoding preview window does not show anything but distorted pictures.
2. I get a ‘80040273 error while encoding menu’ error.

In other applications I get the message ‘Your video card will now be profiled in order to tune the application’ After which time I get ‘Your video card diagnosis failed. The application cannot run.’ I figure that both problems are related.

Where do I go from here? What additional information would you need to help me with this problem.

Any information that the discussion group, you are my IT source, could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
HWWM

You have a video chipset, not a video card. You need to upgrade to a dedicated video card.

64mb of memory isn't gonna get it either for video.

I have finally installed a video card and all is well. Thinks for all of the help.
I have burn my first videowave and slideshow today. All work well. Now I am just trying to figure out what are all the different applications for since some of the application appear to do the same thing, at least to me anyway.

High fives to you! I am glad that you are up and burning now. Yes, some programs do appear to do the same thing, but for your slide shows and video work, VideoWave is the best.
