I've now discovered that track splitter works provided input sound levels are adjusted to a fairly low level

As I recall, there are settings for "sensitivity" or something like that, which may help. I've never had great luck with getting tracks automatically broken out, so I usually use CDWave to manually split out my tracks after recording an entire LP side. You can find it
