Hello,

I loaded EMC9 and have opened several applications with NO crashes or lock ups. I LOVED EMC* Deluxe but it had, on way too many occassions, locked or suddenly shut down losing my work,etc.

So far, I cannot believe the difference in speed. EMC9 is soooo much slower! I have disble MediaWatch and DragtoDisc from the startup menu using MSCONFIG.

This is the CD version bought at BESTBUY, not the download. Should I uninstall MediaWatch and/or Dragto Disc ???

I do not see them running UNDER ctrl_alt_del BUT man o man is this slow compared to EMC*.

Any sugestions?

You can remove D2D from add/remove programs (it's listed separately)

Use MSConfig to disable MediaWatch (I do anyway as I never use it). It does slow things down a lot
