Thanks for the responses on how to schedule backups to an external hard drive.
When scheduling, it looks for a password. I have follwed the directions from the help menu (frankly I woould be quite happy to do this without any password).
I enter the password, as required by the help menu, apply it, and click ok, and save the job. Then I go to the "Schedule Job" window, make my selection and enter the password again. The same password I entered earlier. I get a response the "Password is not valid. Please try again"
So what am I doing wrong? There has got to be an easier way to do backups for my home desktop and laptop.
