Full Version: Drag-to-disc error - urgent

I've tried the drag-to-disc in my PC but error found always. Sometimes I tried to check the files but drag-to-disc display error:

"Drag-to-Disc found problems on the disc in drive D that prevent it from being read.
Would you like to run ScanDisc to attempt to recover data from and/or fix this disc?"

I tried to perform the scandisc but it still cannot show the files on the CD. However, the CD space has been used so I guess the files already in the CD but cannot show only.

I'm using SONY CRX230AE, with Windows2000 sp3 installed. The drag-to-disc version is 7.1.0.189.

Anyone help for the above issue? Appreciate for your prompt response smile.gif

First, if you've already tried scandisc, it may have made the files unrecoverable. But, try one of the recovery programs such as cdroller (www.cdroller.com) or ISOBuster (www.isobuster.com). Both have impressive testimonials on their websites and in the Roxio boards. Both now have "trial" versions, which let you see if anything can be recovered before you have to pay - your odds are better with CD-R than CD-RW.

Second, if you want to KEEP the data, NEVER format the disc. In the henceforward, save your files useing either Classic Creator, or WinXP's built-in burning. Use CD-Rs - they are more stable.

Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements of the software. You need to be running sp4.
