I've made a menu (2 layers, one called Background - not italicised - and one called overlay that's 1 colour)
when I try to import it into my project the progress bar comes up and gets about a fifth of the way across and says "importing assets" and doesn't do anything else, my mouse moves but nothing else on my PC responds (not even CTRL, ALT + DEL)
I've tried with a different overlay layer too but does the same
any ideas?
I know what I'm doing with photoshop (I use it in my job) so anything you can suggest would be gratefully received

I've also noticed if I click on the "buttons" tab in my project it freezes the same (never shows the buttons, just looks like it's thinking about showing them!)
maybe a re-install is needed?

PC version CS2, worked fine before (in XP etc)
aflat PSD wouldn't allow "overlay" layer for buttons so that'd be pointless, I can import JPEGS fine

Mace, so are you saying the issue is with Vista? While there is some Vista support in the application, it isn't claimed to be Vista compatible. It's just not fully tested at this point...so if you saw PSDs working in XP, the program was functioning as it should. If the issue is in Vista, thanks for the report...we'll look into it and work on a fix. Realize that fully supporting a new OS means testing hundreds and hundreds of functions in the application.

looks like it could be Vista, yeah (well, the programme in Vista).
I could import PSD files without a problem in XP (but the rest of the programme didn't work for me in XP), now i just kills my machine, as does clicking "buttons" tab (even if this is done when the software first loads up and no project is loaded in!)
JPEGS import fine, but I cannot put buttons on them due to the problem above

Hi!
This time I have a very strange problem importing .PSD files on DVDit Pro HD.
I started importing 3 files (static menus) with the 2 layers (Background and Overlay). When I try to import another .PSD file (menu) with EXACTLY layer names and another file name (like "Menu_04.psd") DVDit Pro HD program inform me that's a error in the layer name. I entered again the names BACKGROUND and OVERLAY 3 times, and nothing.
When I start another DVDit Pro HD project and import all the .PSD files at the same time, the .PSD files imported, except the "menu_02.psd", that imported on the earlier project and the "menu_04.psd" imported without any problem. I tryied to import the "menu_04.psd" file again on the early project and I get the information that's a error on the name of a layer again, and on the new project, imported again without problems.
What's going on?
Thanks.

Hi, again!
Just a detail: on Photoshop the .PSD files are 1920 X 1080 and imported in the DVDit Pro HD it's 1977 X 1080. It's normal?
Thanks.

Hi!
Tha's not possibel! I cannot handle this DVDit Pro HD software with so many problems, any more. It's like a game where the users must find a way to do something the user guide inform, but it doesn't work!
When I import .PSD menus with the 2 layers absolutly correct, some files import 1920 X 1080, but others are 1977 X 1080 and nothing I do with that files on the Photoshop program or the DVDit Pro HD program, worked. I renamed all the files with the "_1080.psd" and not worked! It's to many problems and problems...
What more can I do tho finnish a BD project in this program? What's the next "try" on this terrible game?
Please, Roxio. Make this program work with what is on it's user guide, please, please!
Thanks.
