Well, this doesn't work for me. The subtitles don't show up, and I fried a couple of DVD-RWs in the process (can't you erase a DVD-RW disc if you make a data disc?). So does anyone else have any ideas? I have an .avi film and a folder containing files of .srt subtitles in four languages. Can Toast make it work?
Thanks,
Roman

this used to work maybe you can adapt it to a DVD
but just for general info:..
it turns out toast works fine for burning movies with .srt subs to be played in your phillips DVP.. all you have to do is this:
-select an iso 9660 data disc
-drop the folder containing the movie and the sub file into toast
-click the 'Select'... button,
- then under 'Settings' , change the 'format' to 'CD-ROM'
- change 'Naming' to 'ISO 9660 Level 1'
- check the 'append version numbers' box
- uncheck the 'use apple extensions'
And you're good to go!
