Hi ya fellas ! blink.gif

Say I just picked up a new boxed Toast 7 for $45 on ebay.

My friend was asking me about a Roxio LP editing software - does anyone know if that's what Spin Doctor does?

I didn't pay it much mind, because at first glance it just looked like another music editing program for your song selections .....

I've been working with Garage Band, Final Cut, and an Audio Editor called 'Sound Studio' - but none of these have any LP editors or such thing .....

Thanx
Mike

Spin Doctor captures analog audio sources as digital files. It also can split AIFF audio files into multiple individual tracks, which is convenient if you are recording the entire side of an LP. In addition it has various noise and enhancement filters intended to reduce noise from vinyl or tape recordings and otherwise enhance the audio. Roxio sells Spin Doctor as a standalone application so there may be some marketing info on their sales site.

Hey tsantee how ya doin?

Thanx smile.gif

Ok, well if I understand you, Toast 7 which has 'Spin Doctor' bundled with it, will help in converting LP music (analog sources), to digital files.

And Spin Doctor apparently also has some filters which may help reduce 'hiss', and 'pop'
Correct?

Guess I should take the time to work a little bit with 'Spin Doctor'

Thanx
Mike
