Hello, I'm having some serious problems with DVD Builder for Roxio 7. It's not allowing me to add video files after opening media selector and 'Add to Selected title' is grayed out and I can't figure out why. And in the main menu "Title" is completely grayed out. I can work with the background and background picture and audio however, cannot add anything to the production editor whatsoever. Does anyone have any solutions or have encountered similar issues?

If you downloaded Microsoft' "critical" update to Internet Explorer 7, rollback to IE 6. IE 7 is causing havoc with a lot of programs, not just Roxio Versions up thru 8 (and there are scattered reports of problems with 9).

There's a trick to doing this.

You have to click on the title on the menu to highlight it. Then choose 'Add to Selected title'

You don't have to do that when you add another title, so it's a bit confusing.

Let us know if that solves the problem

Thanks for the suggestions, however, neither worked. On the main menu everything under "Title" is still grayed out and so is 'Add to Selected Title' I still cannot drag and drop from media selector either. Could I possibly be missing something?

What about the IE 7 and WMP 11 suggestion?.

Also, did this just start happening?.

Not being able to add titles to a production is usually the result of having Microsoft install Internet Explorer 7 as a 'critical update.'
