I have found that using Visual Hub's software is by far much better than what Popcorn is creating.....
The Popcorn 2 H.264 setting outputs in a .mp4 video file. I think to be both iPod and AppleTV compatible the file needs to be a .m4v
If I use Popcorn 2, I then need to use Visual Hub or Quicktime Pro (both have Apple TV as a selectable output).
Visual Hub is a steal.. and a great program that will convert a multiple VIDEO_TS folder directly to .m4v
The only problem it has is not being able to select multiple copies (as you can do in Popcorn 2).
I don't believe Quicktime Pro will convert a VIDEO_TS... I'll have to try...
Come on Roxio... let's see a 2.3 version with Apple TV included!
