I am having problems with output of burned DVD. The various slideshow projects when played have breakup problems. Both video and audio music background freeze or breakup in playback mode. Seems many individuals are having this problem. Anyone have any suggestions? Should I buy someother software as Roxio, discussions with Tech Support, do not seem interested in fixing their product. I feel like I am doing their BETA testing for them.

Would appreciate and help/recommendations.

I am one who did the beta testing, and believe me it went smooth compared to others!

The usual culprits are Player, Media, Settings.

You will need to provide that information before anyone can make any suggestions.

I used Roxio 7.0 suite and had no problems with my projects and their playback. The upgrade (if you want to call it an "upgrade") is causing the problems in playback. The tech support people say it might be my security software interfering with Roxio. This tells me that there are software problems with Roxio 9!!!!!.

Does anyother company have a product that does not cause all these problems. I have been going through DVD's like nothing with no usable final product.

Did you do what tech support suggested? I don't see your computer specs, in your signature. You might want to list those. It would be a good start.

It may be the media you are using. If that DVD plays well on your computer, then your burn was good.

I tried to play it back on my computer, Dell Inspiron 6000 running XP, and still had same breakup problems. What settings are you talking about.
