Thanks for responding. I have an AMD dual core 4600, 16x DVD+/- RW drive on a dell running vista, new computer, less than 1 month old. I download the movies from Tivo and went to videos tab and selected convert video so it would change it from tivo to a viewable movie on dvd, I added the movie and selected burn, Thats were the burning takes 3+ hours for one video. I didn't know if I was doing it wrong or if that is the standard. I read something about endcoding and not selecting that, Not sure where I would do that but it make the burning process faster. Let me know if you need more info. Any help would be great.

What did you convert them to, and what program did you use to burn them to DVD? Not enough information to give you an answer, but if you did it through MyDVD, the encoding time souns about right for a slower computer.
