Full Version: “Unknown Capture Error”

I have been able to install the Vista drivers for the DVC 90.
I am able to see the correct video in the capture window.
Shortly after I start a capture I get an “Unknown Capture Error”
I am then asked if I wish to save the capture. A file is saved however there is nothing to see.

Does anyone have suggestions?

My guess is the Vista driver. When did Pinnacle release it?

I found the driver here:
http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000137CR
It says 32 bit Vista driver.

Although it doesn't say it, I think it must be a beta driver. From what I understand, Pinnacle is supposed to release a driver this month.

When you are at the preview do you hear sound?I have the same problem.I see the picture ok but no sound in the preview.When I try and capture it goes ok for a few seconds and then I get the same message as you do.Like Bruce I suspect the drivers just not right.Pinnacle has it up that the driver was supossed to be released in March but we're still waiting for it.
