Hello there, i have imported a family video into Video wave, and i want to do some trimming on this, so i go to trim and try and do it. It lets me do this but when i press ok, it adds on the new trim but then you need to add in the old video and start and find where you want to trim from, can anyone help me? Am i doing this wrong? Many thanks in advance biggrin.gif

Not sure what you are trying to do. 'Trim' does just that - trims from each END only. Are you trying to cut something in the middle?

Sorry for the confusion i was on the telephone when i wrote this, bad habit! What i am doing is trying to cut bits out of a family film which i do not want, and i was using the trimming in video wave. Is this the right way of doing this as it is really time consuming. Many thanks in advance. laugh.gif

I just have to say that this was the BEST tutorial!! Sknis - you rock! Thanks for taking the time to give such clear and easy to understand instructions. I, too, was having a difficult time figuring out how to cut out sections of video, but, now I've got it!
