I purchased the EMC 8 CD at a store.

Every application has some problem that requires me to force an end task.

I downloaded the version 8 update but it will not install and gives me the a meaasge saying that the program to be updated is not loaded on my computer.

Roxann is USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help me get some support when I am available.

The reference to the update refers to Roxio or your OP???

The Verision 8 download from Roxio.

What version is your EMC 8? Open Creator Classic, click on Help, then click on About. Post the build number here. If it starts with 8.05..., you have the update already, and that may be the reason that you are getting the error message.

Do you have any other burning software installed, and do you have any other packet writing software like Nero's InCd or Sonic's DLA installed? If you do, then they need to be uninstalled.

If you do not have any other packet writing software installek, and you are unable to open any of the applications, go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to the Roxio EMC 8, click on Change, then do a Repair on the software.
