I want to burn a DVD from an AVI file. "My DVD" in EMC9 will not let me select it. Nor will "Cineplayer".

I don't think there is anything wrong with the file since I can view it in Windows Media Player and I can also select it, view it and burn it in an old version of Nero.

Any suggestions???

NOTE: one screen in MyDVD Media Manager makes mention of a filter and that to change the settings you click the "Filter for Media Types Button" I can't find such a button !!!!

An avi file is basically just a container for another type of file.Could this file be a Divx file?If it is then you may be having a problem with Divx and Roxio codecs.Try this to see if it helps solve it.
