Have had EMC8 for about a month & I like some of the features of Music disc creator - but can't find how to attach the track text so it displays in the car cd player...

Realplayer automatically does it when I burn a complilation disc.

Is there something in the burn sequence that you have to do to get Music Disk Creator to attach the track title and artisit?

thanks - Gary

Adding and editing track information
You can add and edit track information, such as the track, artist, and album name. Enter the information manually, or search the online database for track or album information.

Note: You must be connected to the Internet to search for track information online.

To edit track information:
Select the track(s) you want to edit, and then click the Edit Audio Tags button.
The Edit Audio Tags dialog box opens.

If you want to add or change information for only one track, select the track name in the Title drop-down list. Otherwise, you can edit all of the selected files together.
To manually change the information, select the text you want to change, and then type new text.
To search the Gracenote® online database for track information, click MusicID.
The Audio Tag Editor connects to the online database and attempts to identify the tracks.

The Status area indicates whether tracks have been identified. The following states may be listed for each:
To be done: No search has been performed.
Identified: One music database entry has been found, identifying the artist, album, track, year, and so on.
Multiple returns: More than one music database entry has been found.
Cannot identify: No music database entry was found.
If multiple returns are found, click the Multiple returns link to select the information you want to use.
To apply the information that was found in the music database to the tracks, select the Use MusicID tags check box.
To save the information with the file so it will be associated with the track in most types of players and audio applications, select the Embed or replace tags inside the audio files (if supported by the format) check box. Otherwise, the information will be associated with the track in this project only.
Note: This option is only available for file formats that support metadata.

Click Done to close the Audio Tag Editor.
