In a previous post I had problems with missing checkboxes for creating chapter menus.I was all happy that I finally repaired the problem by disabling startup items and running the Repair in Add/Remove programs.Everything was working as should be.Then I started having problems with chapter thumbnails showing up as checkerboard pattern.While playing with this I noticed my check boxes have disappeared again and now I'm back to where I can't create a chapter menu.Roxio support recommends their usual updates of video drivers and Direct X and also suggest disabling Statup and Services, listing which to turn on to work with Roxio.Does this mean that if I repair the software again and don't disable these things before each time I use My DVD that I can expect the component to be "wrecked" on a regular basis?! This would seem to be a strange way to keep the program functional.The responses from Support are slow and don't go into much depth about what might be causing the problem.I'm often left with more questions than I started with.Any light on the subject would be appreciated.

You will need to re-enable each item until you find the one that breaks it.

Do this over time.

Then remove that software from your PC.
