I removed the Roxio basic programs from my new HP notebook and downloaded and installed a new version of Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. It installed with no problems but when I click on the icon to start the program I get this message, "The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted. Please re-install it." Does anyone know how to fix that?
Thanks,
Joe

You can try doing a Repair on the installation, this worked recently for someone.
I had this happen to me in XP.The only way I could fix it was to Uninstall, run a registry cleaner,do a search of my drive to remove leftover files and folders and then manually edit the registry to remove any remaining traces of Roxio.
