After completely removing ROXIO from my computer (000086CR Clean Installation of Easy Media Creator 8 or 9; URL http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000086CR) after I try to backing up files to an ext. hard drive and I get an error: Roxio EMC Stream: $DATA. How can I completely remove this from my computer?

download and run this and remove any reference to Sonic or Roxio.

Also, check for any hidden folders called Roxio or Sonic

Thanks, I went to the sight but I still do not know how to do this when I already removed ROXIO program from my computer. Where is the system tray?

To stop tagging your files, right-click on the RoxWatch or Media Manager Services icon in your system tray and choose "Stop Watching Folders". If you have hidden the system tray icon, you can access these options in the Media Manager application.

More information on tagging, alternate or multiple data streams is available
