I have Roxio CD 5 creator installed on windows XP and download the trial version of EMC 9. Once it expired I got a registration code (downloaded automatically through the product) but when another user logs in the product keeps wanting to go through an install. It seems to be looking for a file under my profile that does not exist. I tried reinstalling the product under the problem profile with no luck. Any idea why it behaving this way?

Sound like you installed the program under your account rather than an administrator's account. Are you set up as the administrator? That's what should have been done and then access granted to everyone using the machine.
You may have to do a clean uninstall and then have the administrator re-install and grant access to everyone. How many people have accounts on that computer? I assume that you are not trying to use this on a server. Perhaps someone else has a quicker solution.
