java script:emoticon('<_<', 'smid_1')
<_<After installing EMC9, the export drop-down list in Quicktime Pro is disabled as in the drop-down box with the list of export options does not appear in Quicktime Pro. I confirmed this by uninstalling EMC9 and the export options reappeared in QT. After reinstalling EMC9, QT problem returned.
Anyone know who to correct this conflict? I'd like to use both pieces of software.
BTW, I have two licenses of EMC9 running on two different computers both with QT Pro 7 and both have the same problem.

Have you tried doing a "repair" on the Quictime install, or tried uninstalling/reinstalling it after EMC9 is installed?

Yes, I forgot to mention it but I have done an uninstall and reinstall of QT7. No change.

I'll see if I can replicate this. I might have to purchase a pro license for quicktime though and I already have on on my Mac. Any chance you have posted this question on the apple forums? I looked for some answers there. We just dont come across too many Quicktime Pro users so its hard to tell where the conflict is, although it does appear to be codec realated.

Just a little more info. I have an HP laptop that came bundled with some Roxio (Sonic) software, specifically Sonic Digital Media Plus v7. I installed QT Pro7 and it exhibits the same problem, no drop-down menu under Export in the "Save exported file as:" dialog box.
