That's usually graphics related. What graphics card/chipset are you using and have you updated the drivers for that from the card maker's website and also installed the latest DirectX 9.0c from MS?

Thanks: The computer is pretty new (6 months) HP DuoCore, I downloaded the Direct x now get error 8045028 aborting?? Worked before but now not working??

It sort of depends - most fishing rights are privately owned (dates back to the English land-grabbing) but there is a lot of fishing owned by one of the government departments (mainly reservoirs) that they stock and charge a daily fee for fishing but, they're all rainbow with some salmon.

However, there are some small lakes that aren't tied and have native brown and so long as you have your permit, you can fish as long as you want there

Thanks for the info, our most highly prized waters are streams and rivers, I am 600 feet from a 28 mile long lake full of bass, crappiie, bluegills and muskys, as well as walleyes trout and even landlocked salmon, never fish it, I go 10 miles to fish the Little Juniata river, great dry fly fishing it is a no-kill river, fingerling stocked and natural reproduction.

What happens when you update your video card & directx but still get the error 8004520c ????????

At a guess you have onboard graphics - that's probably the culprit

The fix is to install a separate graphics card.

The video set up you have is just a chip on the motherboard. Typically these don't work well and the latest driver update for you is three years old. This set up will always give you problems and slow performance. You'' lose all the 3D and many other transitions. If you try to run the program in hardware mode, the computer will more than likely freeze.

You can get one from an on-line store like newegg. Get one with 256 MB of memory on the card. Here are some for under $100. Buy what you can afford, there are others for just over $50. Really all you need to know is what kind of slot your computer has -APG or PCI. I doubt that your older computer has a ePCI slot. Check with HP for recommendations but you do not have to buy from them.

Replacing a video card usually takes about 10 minutes if you know what the inside of a computer looks like.
