Hi can anyone help ? i am preparing a slideshow but some of my photos have scanned and saved in a small size. (some are very old). I have tried the resize option , but when i save the changed photo , the original settings are saved. How can i adjust the size of my pictures so that they all appear about the same size in my slideshow. I will be very grateful for any help THANKS
When you open your photo in the Edit mode, do an immediate File/ Save As....and under the Options at the bottom of the screen, choose the 'Export size' and choose the size that you want.
Give the picture a new name so that you're working with a copy.
Now you're going to lose quality when you resize those small photos and you might not be happy with the result when you burn the slideshow to a DVD.
Make certain that you're making that slideshow in VideoWave and you'll have other options rather than resizing in PhotoSuite.
You can put the smaller photos onto a color panel using the Overlay feature in the Timeline View. Then you can resize the photo, put a frame around the photo, or soften the edges so that it blends into the background color panel. You may also want to try putting a rectangular or oval picture frame 'Effect' around thosee photo.
