After installing EMC 9 blank DVD's show free space at 4.07 GB rather than 4.37. Can anyone tell me what the issue is here? Never saw this problem with Nero 7.

If I disable Drag to Disk all is well.

My system is Windows Vista HP, Dual core processor, 4 GB RAM.

Thanks!

If you formatyted the disc (which is the only way D2D will be able to access it), there is a loss of space due to the formatting.

Again, discs are measured in multiples of 1,000 and not 1,024 so the reported size will always be less than the makers' quoted size (Windows measures in 1024 multiples)

If you want to use the reliable programs in the suite, don't format the disc for Drag2Disc.

If you want to use Drag2Disc - I'd suggest using seach (upper right) and look for "Drag2Disc" or "D2D" (without the quotes) to see what kind of experience others have had before you. wink.gif

Nero 7 dosen't install INCD (there drag and drop app) by default, only as a option if you want it.

Even though EMC 9 installs Drag-to-disc by default, it's available to uninstall under "Add/Remove Programs" by itself.

Even better in 9.1 you get the choice to not install it at all.
