I am unable to play DVD movies with Cineplayer... so I am forced to use windows Media player. I get these errors and would like to know if it can be resolved.
I am using Easy media creator 9 suite, windows Vista Business, Powerdvd decoder, NVIDIA 7600gt Dual head Graphics cards, Lite-on dvd drives. Even the graphics display of the screen does not look crisp, as if my video driver is not working well, though it looks crisp on everything else in easy media creator and on the pc.

I have never heard of JIT Debugging, but it looks like a lot to do with your mouse, in what you posted.

This is a users forum, not tech support, but maybe someone who can decipher those errors, will drop in and offer a suggestion. I appears you have some programs running that could be causing the problem.

I understand Bruce, thank you very much. Any help is certainly appreciated. FWIW, i did a clean reinstall etc.. the works. The clean install removed one error that was coming up (So far), but I am still at this point.

Well, i suppose that I am not gonna get any other reply. It is simple, I cannot use the program for the basic function of playing a DVD.

Try to re-install MS dotNET - this could be the cause of the problem.

I would LOVE to try this, BUT, I am not seeing how to do that really. If there is a clearer resource, i would certainly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Just download it from MS and double click the .exe file to install it. dotNET is needed to run some apps and it's a MS executable which is why you would need to install it again separately

I appreciate your time. I have Microsoft.net 1.1 installed, so I will uninstall it and install the following one and see if that resolves the issue:

OK, not much luck there... Install told me that the program was already installed on my pc, and I am now getting this:

"ERROR HRESULT E_FAILED has been returned from a call to a COM component."

So, in summary, I did system restore and got back to how i was, so now I am back to getting my initial problem. I must also add that the graphics in the application when i am trying to play dvd's, is also poor. The graphics on everything else is fine... in every other part of the program that I have used. SO, I am basically back to square one.

It would seem that since there was a change with that ms dotnet attempt, that this may be the culprit, but..., I am at a loss here.

Additionally, I just discovered that it could play DVD, if i go into PLAYBACK Settings. By simply going there, the mini window starts showing the movie, and if i doubleclick on that window, the video works, but that is the ONLY Way to get it work. Just realized this.

Something is awfully screwy around here.
