Full Version: No Audio when Importing Quicktime with Audio

Hi,

I am importing quicktime media (Pal) into DvdIT Pro HD.
So far it's worked great. But the 5th video does not contain audio in the import media and does not play it. Odd since all the others did. Can't find anything different about the quicktime file (with audio) than the others. And there appears to be nothing different about the import process.

There are five videos a master menu and submenus for the 4 videos being used. (fifth is an intro menu feeder.

Anyone got any ideas.

Busting out all over, Nuts and late for a client delivery of this...

I've setup a test project and the video/audio came in fine.

So, it's related somehow to the project size.
I did notice that the size of the proect in gb is in the red due to the fact that the software does not realized that I will be burning DL. I cannot find a setting for this. It may be affecting how it is handline new files.

Any guesses out there, what say, etc.

that's a new one. so here is a work around suggestion. import the 5th QT piece in a separate project and transcode and then grab the transcoded audio and video from your transcodes folder and import those into your project with 5 videos. File > Preferences > File Control will tell you the location of your transcodes. they are in a folder called Project in that location.

Interesting.

I did find the setting for changing the project to DL. It's right next to the remianing indidicator on the bottom (didn't realize DVD9 was DL). However, I am still in the red with the project size.
Dropping one video fixes the size issue but takes me to a two volume set... which the client does not want.

I am not sure that transcribing the audio (the idea I like) will fix that though.

Thanks

try lowering your bit rate in your project settings dialog. that should help to fit the content onto a dual layer.
