Hi

I'm looking for a tool that can burn data CDs and DVDs with Unicode support. I downloaded the Creator 7.5 trial. It kind of supports Unicode filenames, but not quite. Here are the problems I have (I tried on both Windows 2000 and XP):
1) If I add a file with Unicode name (Cyrillic or Greek for example) the UI shows the name as ????????.mp3. If I burn it on a UDF or Joliet disk the name shows correctly in Windows. I'm willing to live with that, because it is only an UI problem.
2) More serious problem - if I have 2 files with Unicode names and the same name length (same number of characters in the names) the second file tries to replace the first one. The problem is that both are showed as ?????????.mp3, and from the UI point of view they are the same name.

So my questions are:
- are these problems fixed in Creator 8?
- can I download a trial for Creator 8?
- does anyone here know of a burning tool that has better Unicode support? I tried the latest versions of Nero and CopyToDVD, they all have various problems with Unicode...

Thanks
Ivo

Go here and read this. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=146510 The guy has your same problem. He claims success with CyberLink Power2Go, but he dosen't state what version. It's a long post his answer is #19 or 20.
