Hello all, long time, no post. I was just wondering if there are any good 3rd party softwares out there that work with EMC9, that offer more menu themes than what EMC9 comes with. In my opinion, you can never have too many themes! Thanks in advance for any links that can be provided, if applicable..........

Not as far as I know. There are some theme packs you can buy but depending on what version you have, you may already have them. You can use Photoshop to make your own backgrounds too.

Thanks Beerman. I just found this while doing some digging. They say that they're compatible with EMC9, but $119 seems a bit steep. Then again, it would make for some very cool projects. Just thought I'd share......

As far as Photoshop, is it easy to add working buttons, and import into a project? I'll do a search for it. I'm sure it's here somewhere. Thanks again!

That website says "Guaranteed compatibility with all video editing software" and does show in it's tutorial section
here that show how you can * use the chroma-key effect with Home Movie Essentials. I'm not sure what you can do with that software and Roxio. Before I spent that much money, I'd make sure you have a guarantee. Maybe see if they offer a trial version.

"DVD Menus are compatible with DVD authoring software capable of importing layered Photoshop files"

MyDVD does not support this file format in the context of this statement. MyDVD uses XML files to determine menu colors, text color and buttons are separate files. As long as the animated files are a supported format, there should be no problem using them as custom backgrounds.

I bought several packages from Digital juice which uses Quicktime and they work fine in MyDVD.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll look into that Digital Juice software- thanks!
