I have a .wmv file and want to burn it on Toast as a DVD, but Popcorn does not do this ....anyone know how? I have the free version of flip4mac and can view this .wmv file but not get it to burn to DVD....any help is appreciated....i also have Toast

the free product is just a player plug-in for QT.
you need the $29 product that actually imports WMV files.
these allow QT based apps like Toast actually import and convert these files.
in this case, toast will convert WMV to MPEG2 and author to a DVD.

Actually, the free product will allow you to burn WMV to DVD with Toast. Popcorn is not made for this. You must use Toast. If you want to export DVD to WMV, then you need the $29 product for exporting.
But, for just burning WMV to DVD, the QT plug-in which is the decoder, will work just fine.
