Hi - I am having a huge problem. Last week, I tried updating to 9.1 with no success. I had to uninstall and reinstall EMC9 which seemed to bring me back up and running. Tonight, I have been working in Videowave and everything was going well. When I saved and tried opeing up MyDVD, I got a message saying "Following codec must be activated before using the application: MPEG-2" Click ok to acitivate. So I click OK, and it says Roxio is searching servers, etc., and then it tells me that it is activating the feature now and then comes up "invalid product key." I have absolutely no idea what this means. I then go to try and open up my Videowave production I just worked on and I get a similar message about MPEG-2 and then I click a button and my production comes up but is says one of my files is corrupt. Everything was there as normal but the one MPEG-2 I placed in my production (it had a red O with a slash, but you could hear the sound just no picture). Then, I checked the folder on my hard drive where that file was located and it played normally in WMP. I am totally confused and never have had anything like this happen before. What do I do?? And could it be related to my uninstall and reinstall?? Thanks!!

Basically it is saying that ALL my MPEG-2 files that I have ever inserted in ANY Videowave production are corrupt or unsupported. It says I may "need to install additional software to support playback of these files." What do I do?? HELP!! Thanks.

I tried following these directions,
http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/WinOnCD/000123CR but never received a 25 digit key code to activate it. I just had blanks in the boxes. Can someone please tell me what I should do!! Thanks.

I've already posted about this in the Activation section. Thanks anyway.
