I copied several LP's on the lp recording setting as MP3. When these were recorded to a disc, the disc will not play in the auto0 stero or the other home units such as the JVC Boom Box. Also, the software will show the tracks when recording, but when recordings are transferred to the disc, the whole time is sent as one block, but not as tracks. (also, the mp3 will play on the computer only, using windows media player 10)

You either made a data disc or an mp3 disc (basically the same) which are not standard audio discs and won't play in many standard players.

You should have captured those LP's as wav files, not mp3's.

And you have to have an amp or preamp between the turntable and the computer.

Open the recording in Sound Editor and set the track markers (cuts) there; don't trust the automatic track markers.
