I was running EMC 7.5 and I use an overlay called fire works , I have upgraded to EMC 9 and I do not see this file in it, Can I take it from the EMC 7.5 disk and load it into EMC 9 or can I buy this effect any help

Not directly (i.e. not so that it will appear in EMC 9's list of overlays), but since, using Add photo or Video, you can add any picture or video file as overlay to an existing item, if you have the Fireworks overlay file, you can add it as overlay that way (add it as overlay to the internal track of the item). I don't have EMC 7.5, but I assume that there is a fireworks file sonewhere, probably a .png file that you can browse to: I would think the program files of EMC 7.5 would have a sub folder called overlays, look in there.

If you uninstalled EMC 7.5, if you have the CD, search that and copy the required file to, say, your Pictures folder.
